AI Assistant
  • Introduced two new AI Assistant modes for working with project information.
    • Data mode enables AI Assistant to answer questions using data stored in the BEXEL CDE database, including BCF, Documents, Schedule, and other project data.
    • Agent mode, which is now the default mode, automatically determines whether to use project documentation content or CDE data when answering questions.
    • In all modes, responses are generated in accordance with the defined access rights for the underlying data.
    • Added a new configuration option to control whether AI Assistant searches only the CDE database or both the CDE database and external knowledge sources, including publicly available information from the web.
  • Added support for new and improved AI models. GPT-5.5 (reasoning model) is now the default model.
  • Added support for copying and exporting tables from AI Assistant responses. A new Copy Table option is available for responses containing tabular data.
BCF
  • Enabled automatic updates of access rights for Issue folders when Participants, Assigned To, or Reviewers are modified.
    • Access rights are automatically updated for the Issue folder and all associated files.
    • This also applies to participants assigned through Project Roles.
    • Manually assigned access rights remain unchanged.
  • Enabled direct document upload to BCF comments from both desktop and mobile devices.
    • Uploaded files are automatically stored within the corresponding Issue Folder in Docs.
    • Access rights are assigned automatically based on issue participant type.
  • Removed the limitation on the number of Custom Fields within a BCF project. Text and List custom fields can now be created using dedicated New Text Field and New List Field options.
  • Improved BCF report generation, including enhanced support for print layouts. Also, multiple sheets in Excel BCF templates are now supported.
  • Improved the issue import process with better handling of missing values.
  • Fixed an issue where BCF Issues could not be saved after clearing the Deadline field.
  • Fixed an issue where the Deadline filter did not work correctly across different time zones.
  • Fixed an issue where email notifications displayed incorrect field changes after importing BCF Issues.
BI Analytics
  • Enabled publishing and sharing of BI Templates at the account level.
    • A new Templates tab is available in the Manage section, displaying published templates for both single-project and multi-project analyses.
    • Published templates can be loaded from the side menu in Editor mode using the Load Published Template option. Templates can also be published from the same menu using the Publish Template option.
    • Added more than 20 predefined BI Templates available to users across all accounts, providing useful starting points for common analyses as well as more advanced use cases.
  • Enabled the use of custom SQL queries when creating dashboard data sources. This option is especially useful for advanced users with strong SQL knowledge, allowing them to optimize queries and tailor results to specific analysis needs.
  • Enabled the use of BCF Check Lists and BCF Custom Fields in BI Analytics reports.
  • Enabled BI Analytics for the Docs module.
    • New reporting tables are available for projects, folders, documents, and document revisions.
    • Available data respects defined user access permissions for documents and folders.
  • Improved dashboard performance and usability, including enhancements to color-coded dashboards and TaskInterval-based reports.
  • Improved chart rendering and editor layout within BI Analytics.
Color Legend
  • Introduced the new Color Legend module within projects.
    • Added a dedicated Color Legend tab, accessible from the Modules menu which displays colors used in QTO/CBS, Clash Detection, IDS Check, or Takt Planning, depending on the active color-coded mode.
    • Defined color schemes can later be edited directly within the Color Legend tab, where existing colors can be changed, and new colors can be added.
    • This also enabled creation and management of color schemes for QTO/CBS structures created in CDE.
Docs
  • Improved document loading performance by loading folder contents only when the selected folder is opened.
Mobile
  • Enabled the use of Check Lists in Mobile View.
  • Improved loading performance for project and BCF Issue lists.
Viewer
  • Enabled configuration of Google Maps API keys at the project level for Google Tileset and Google Maps integration.
    • API keys can be configured from the Edit Project dialog.
    • Access to Google Maps functionality can be managed per project user.
    • Once added, the Google API key enables approved users to use Google Maps overlays inside the new viewer.
  • Improved marquee selection accuracy using an Oriented Bounding Box (OBB) approach.
  • Added support for scenes in the tile-based viewer.
    • From now on, existing scenes can be viewed and updated, and new scenes can be created directly within the tile-based viewer.
  • Added the ability to add and edit clipping-planes to the new viewer, including
    • creating section boxes from selected elements, and
    • adjusting clipped-edge color & width
  • Enabled the use of the tile-based viewer within Power BI reports.
    • When a tile-based model is available for a project version, it is loaded by default. Otherwise, the legacy viewer is used.
    • Users can switch between the new and legacy viewer from Settings using the Use New Viewer or Use Old Viewer option.
  • Added new viewer interaction settings.
    • Users can configure whether the viewer automatically Zooms to Selected Elements, Isolates Selected Elements, or Ensures Selected Elements Are Visible when selections are made from other modules.
    • These options provide the same behavior as the legacy viewer when interacting with modules such as QTO/CBS and Clash Detection.
    • The new options are available from the viewer toolbar.
  • Added support for displaying existing Geolocation settings inside the UI.
  • Improved viewport stability while using orthographic projection.
  • Improved two-finger navigation on tablet devices.

User Interface
  • Added PopOut / PopIn functionality to the BI Analytics, BCF, Clash Detection, and Properties tabs, allowing them to be moved to a second screen to improve workflow flexibility.
    • All interactions with popped-out tabs work the same as when the tabs are part of the main layout. Popped-out tabs can be returned to the main layout using the X button.
    • To include these tabs in a saved layout, they should be returned to the main layout (initial state) before saving.
  • Improved overflow menu behavior in the toolbars of the Viewer, Documents, and Schedule Animation tabs.
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect element counts were displayed while creating QTO/CBS structures.
  • Implemented numerous minor UI improvements across all modules
